In 2022, Kayla Cook founded Warwick United, a grassroots initiative focused on advocacy and service projects for students in the Warwick School District. Their primary focus is providing clothing, food, menstrual products, and social-emotional support for Warwick students, staff, and their families. They also advocate for an inclusive learning environment for all learners, in strong support of the Public Education System.

Through this organization, she has led efforts to provide essential resources, including school supplies and menstrual products, ensuring that every student has the support they need to thrive. Over the timespan of two school years, Warwick United has donated more than 40,000 menstrual products to the Warwick School District.

Additionally, Warwick United serves as a trusted network for Warwick School District social workers to obtain emergency needs for students. Cook is a dedicated advocate, leader, and community organizer with a passion for fostering safety, equity, and support for others.
